Alex Koller, M.A.,
CCC SLP

Founder, Speech Language Pathologist

Alex is the founder of Bumblebee Pediatric Therapy and a pediatric speech-language pathologist. She specializes in supporting children with fluency disorders, speech sound disorders, and the implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. Alex brings a thoughtful, structured, and playful approach to each session and is passionate about building confidence not only in her clients, but within their families as well.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University and completed her graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Alex has advanced training in a variety of evidence-based approaches, including PROMPT, DIR/Floortime, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, SOS Feeding, Natural Language Acquisition/Gestalt Language Processing, PECS, and AAC implementation. She has also completed coursework through the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and is a former LAMP Certified Professional and Assistive Technology Specialist.

Alex believes therapy is most effective when expectations are clear, strengths are highlighted, and children feel safe to take risks and grow. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, connecting with her community, and getting into nature whenever possible.
