Physical Therapy
Movement is more than milestones. It’s how kids explore the world.

Physical therapy at Bumblebee supports children in building the strength, coordination, and motor control they need to move through the world with confidence.
From early motor milestones—like rolling, crawling, and walking—to balance, posture, and endurance, our PTs use movement-rich play to help children build skills in a way that feels motivating and fun.
We focus on functional progress, safety, and independence, while always honoring how your child learns best.

What We Work On

They show signs of fatigue or discomfort during movement
We support children with

Developmental and neurological diagnoses impacting movement
Our Approach
Movement is at the heart of childhood.
Our PTs use creative, purposeful activities to help your child build strength, stability, and functional mobility. Sessions might include balancing on stepping stones, navigating obstacle courses, crawling through tunnels, or stretching and strengthening through game-like challenges.
We tailor every plan to your child’s abilities, goals, and sensory-motor needs—so therapy feels engaging, not intimidating.
Because your child may also be working on sensory or communication goals, our PTs collaborate daily with OTs and SLPs to ensure progress carries over across settings and skills
Evidence informed approaches and tools we use:
-
Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI)
-
Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)
-
Kinesiotaping
-
Manual therapy
-
Therapeutic exercise
-
Play-based strengthening and balance training
-
Positioning strategies for motor learning
-
Treadmill training and functional gait practice (as appropriate)
